Abstract

This research develops and evaluates a data-driven business analytics framework designed to enhance strategic decision-making within organizations. We examine how business analytics capabilities, big data utilization, predictive modeling, data visualization, and organizational analytics maturity collectively influence decision quality and overall performance. A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed, involving 200 organizations from manufacturing, finance, healthcare, retail, IT, and service sectors. Stratified random sampling yielded 1,000 respondents, including senior executives, analysts, and managers, with 972 valid responses retained after data cleaning. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and executive interviews, while secondary data came from organizational reports and industry databases. Statistical analyses included multiple linear regression, structural equation modeling, and confirmatory factor analysis. The results demonstrate that business analytics capability (, ), data quality (, ), predictive analytics (, ), and data visualization (, ) are significant predictors of strategic decision-making, with the model explaining 76.4% of the variance (). Correlation analysis reveals a strong positive relationship between business analytics maturity and strategic decision-making effectiveness (, ), as well as with organizational performance (, ) and innovation capability (, ). Structural equation modeling confirms good model fit (CFI = 0.98, RMSEA = 0.042). Organizations with advanced analytics capabilities outperform those with low maturity by 30.2% in strategic decision quality and 27.4% in operational efficiency. This study contributes a comprehensive, empirically validated framework that demonstrates analytics maturity as a critical enabler of evidence-based management and competitive advantage. The findings underscore the imperative for organizations to invest in analytics infrastructure, data governance, and workforce analytical skills to build data-driven enterprises
